Arizona
By Norm Seeley | February 15, 2012
The state of Arizona celebrated 100 years as a State yesterday and I remembered the days when my family first started visiting back in the late 50s, early 60s at the Ride N Rock Ranch here in Scottsdale.

Use a Lot.
By Norm Seeley | February 10, 2012
We use a lot of energizer rechargeable batteries in our home. I have had several re-chargers for the different sizes of batteries that we use.
One is capable of charging several different sizes and you can mix the sizes that are being charged at one time. That is convenient. Two just handle the AA size batteries. That works out as we seem to have more devices that require AA batteries to operate.

No Mail.
By Norm Seeley | February 9, 2012
Few minutes ago I went to get the mail. Our mailbox was full. But it wasn’t mail for us. It belonged to our neighbor.
There wasn’t so much as one piece of junk mail addressed to us or “Resident” it was all for our neighbor.
This happens a lot.
At least 3 or 4 days a week there is at least one piece of mail that is not addressed for our address or to us. It’s addressed some where else on our block or several streets over.
Normally I put it back out for pick up by the postman the next day. I don’t feel it’s my job to deliver mail to someone who doesn’t even live on our street.
Today, I took all the mail delivered to our neighbor to him, as it was just next door. I thought that maybe our mail was delivered to him.
No such luck.
Nothing.
A call to the Post Office using the local phone number got nothing but an unanswered call. The phone just rang and rang. No one there had the courtesy to answer it.
I call an 800 number for the post office and after 6 minutes of hearing an automated voice I was finally directed to a real person, I never did find out where she was.
I was told that it will be at least two business day until I am contacted by phone by someone who will “Look into the Problem”.
In the meantime……we have NO MAIL.

8 Days.
By Norm Seeley | February 6, 2012
Just 8 days until Valentine’s Day. I suppose this would be a good time to consider cheap fragrances and order a gift for “the Wife”.
I know that she doesn’t want Chocolate Covered Strawberries, she has made that very clear.
I have been thinking that it would be a lot of fun to go out on a date next Tuesday and go to one of our favorite eateries here in the valley.
We always seem to have so much fun when we make going out a “DATE”.

Upgrade our Computers.
By Norm Seeley | February 5, 2012
As we continue into the new year, our conversations seem to center on replacing our van, that has seen a better day, and has over 100,000 miles on it. We also have had more than a few about new computers, not just for Karen, but for me too.
At least a couple of the conversations have been about looking into a tablet with keyboard. Something like that would work out just fine for me.

Jenee’ Lynn Seeley (Bandler)
By Norm Seeley | February 4, 2012
It was last year that I leaned that Jenee’ my daughter passed away in her New York apartment. A funeral was held here in the metro Phoenix area but no one had the courtesy to let Karen and I know about it.
Here is a picture of Karen, Jenee’ and I when she came to Phoenix the year before and the 3 of us went to lunch.

Karen and I miss the 3 or 4 weekly phone calls we would receive from her during the last 4 years of her life.
Take a look at the last professional job she had in a video for the Kings of Leon.
