<itunes:summary>I had the opportunity after some 43 years to talk with Bob Shannon who was on the air at KRUX here in Phoenix, with me, back in the sixties. Back then, Bob and I would rarely get the opportunity to get together, I worked days, he worked nights. I don't think we ever had the time to share an arturo fuente, or meet away from the studio.

I have divided our conversation into 5 segments and for the next five days here on my blog, I will included them. If you listened to KRUX, listened to Bob, or want to learn about what it's like to be on the air, you will find each segment interesting.

If you click on:Â "normradio.com mug and other select items in my store by webwiz"Â to the right, you can see a new KRUX T-Shirt that you might like.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>This last Sunday, my friend Ben sent me a reel to reel tape deck for my Birthday, and I have started playing back reels from the days I was in radio.Â

It would be great if I had them dating back to the begining days in the Denver area, 1961, then here in Phoenix, and then Las Vegas, unfortunately, that isn't the case. So far I have found only tapes from the mid 70s from Las Vegas.Â

The audio for today comes from 10-31-1977.

But it's interesting to say the least. Take a listen and let me know what you think in the comment section of today's blog.</itunes:summary>
