<itunes:summary>I have always been a fan of television. I usually don't spend much time during the day with the television on but at night it's a different story. Then I like to watch Television.

More times than not, it's cops and robbers shows. Reality shows, game shows, documentaries, don't have much interest for me.

Jack Webb's Dragnet was always one of my favorites. The radio Dragnets were also interesting to listen to. While toward the end of it's run, some of the writing left a lot to be desired. Over all, about 65% of those shows were interesting and fun to watch.

The Law and Order shows, are also some of my favorites. Sometimes they seem to present a "left" view and even tend to be Anti-American in the dialog. But again, I watch them with interest and don't mind if they're reruns.

With the writers strike, television at night has been made up of reruns even though it should be action shows. I guess this week, we're finally getting some newly written shows being aired. The television industry brought to a stand still, creative wise, when the writers walked out.

With that in mind, I'm very thankful that there aren't too many industries that would grind to a halt if some of the workers choose to go out on strike.

Can you imagine if workers at car dealerships struck, or at fast food restaurants...or what about mortgage Lenders, employees for landscape companies or church pastors. Then what would we do?

I had been thinking that I want a new 16.9 HD television set, and should organize viewers to strike watching the new shows until the writers unions pay each of us enough to purchase such a set. That would be only fair. Don't you think?</itunes:summary>
