Driving to Lunch.
By Norm Seeley | February 19, 2012
Today after attending Church, we were driving to Lunch. Our van was not loaded down with gold bars, but half way to where we were going, we started to hear a funny noise coming from the front end as we came to a stop at a stop light.
Immediately with a Green Light, I figured out the front left tire had gone flat. I had to carefully cross two lanes to the right to take the van to a side street.
We traveled about a half a block and I pulled to where I could lower the ramp so Karen could leave the van. We both look at the front left tire and it was clearly “FLAT’.
I was trying to figure out who to call for help when a young man who had been at a bus stop on the street we were driving on came over as asked if we needed help.
He and a friend soon were jacking up our van and replaced the flat tire with the full sized spare we carry in the back of the van.
We then drove them to where they were going, and Karen spent a moment praying for them.
What a blessing.
