Still no Floor.
By Norm Seeley | July 22, 2010
Spent the morning trying to figure out where I was going to put the our food back into the new cabinets in the kitchen. I also started the first load in the dishwasher since it was reconnected. It was a quiet one in the first place but this morning it seems even quieter. (Maybe I should put on my hearing aids.) The floor is just concrete, but the vinyl has been ordered and should be installed sometime next week.
There are numerous boxes in our dinning and living rooms, loaded with stuff taken from the old kitchen cabinets. I haven’t had the never yet to look in them. I wasn’t the one that loaded them. But I have a feeling, I will be the one who unloads them.
With the changes in the kitchen I have also been thinking about my office, as my chair needs to be replaced. With the day time temps reaching 110, 115, I don’t feel like going out. So I’m going to look on the Internet for office furniture accessories , and see if I can find a replacement chair.
Going to the front door when UPS rings the bell, that I can handle, but walking to our van, (even though it’s in our carport), that I will pass on.
( I know that this would be a great opportunity to use my camera….but I have to tell you….I just don’t have the urge.)
