Building.
By Norm Seeley | March 19, 2010
Several years ago, my wife and I were involved in the start up of a new church here in Scottsdale.
Karen acted as the office manager and also designed the website for the new church. She is really good at web design and did a great job as office manager. I remember that we had many meetings here at the house to discuss the business of the church.
I never had an official position with the church, but I was the one who ordered all of the audio equipment, microphones, mixers, speakers, CD Recorders/players and the like. An area that I’m real good at.
It wasn’t long after starting that the meetings centered on building a church building. I just happened to be walking by the dinning room in our house when the subject came up and not being a shy person, I suggested they look at steel buildings , as they go up quickly and would provide what the church needed.
Since I was not a member of the church board, I made my suggestion and went to the back of the house and back to work in my home office.
To make a long story short, the church continued to lease their location and we left the church and started going to one closer to where we live.
