Teenager
By Norm Seeley | March 17, 2010
There are times that I remember things that have happened to me in the past. Or just what life was like growing up in Denver or during my high school years at the ranch school 69 miles from Phoenix.
Most of my memories of Denver are happy memories. I can only remember one time I “ran a way” from home. Didn’t get very far… behind a plant next to the front steps of our house. I must have been slow in those days, thought they would never find me.
As a teenager I was just a tall skinny kid, who had to concentrate on just walking. Left foot, right foot….one reason why I was not good on a basketball court despite being 6’4″.
I was lucky though, acne was not a major problem. OH yes I did have blackheads, and oh what I would have give to have a blackhead extractor .
But like so many things that happen as we grow up, I made it through with little or no “scars” .
That came let in life when I got married the first and second times.
