For what ever reason, when thinking about what KRUX sounded like back in the mid sixties, I got to thinking about commercials that we produced and aired for car insurance companies .
We had a very busy local production department back then. I don’t remember how many commercials that I recorded for use on the air. But since my air shift was from 9 to Noon, and then I would be in the building doing my job as the station’s Music Director, I was available.
Now that brings up the fact that starting next Monday, March 15TH, I will be airing a 5 part interview with Bob Shannon, who was on the air with me back at KRUX.
Bob and I have been sharing emails the last couple of weeks, and when we got to talk on the phone the other day, it was as if we were still working at KRUX. Neither one of us was at a loss for words.
