Memories of an OLD MAN.
By Norm Seeley | January 16, 2010

I have noticed since I turned 66 years old last August, that I have moments when I remember things from out of the past. They appear for a minute or two, (In Full Color) just like in the old days and then the memories disappear.
Last week I even thought about when I had pimples. It would have been nice to have acne treatments available, but all I could see is me washing my face over and over again.
I even had a quick memory to the first time I drove a truck. There I was, only a few days into my first day at Orme School, and there was a need for someone to drive a truck to pick up, I think, trash. The person who was taking us around and assigning chores asked for a volunteer. I did even though I had not really driven before. The memory went up in a puff of smoke. But I do remember that it took me a few minutes to figure out the stick shift, but I did get the truck around the ranch to pick up the trash. It was a jerky ride, but I got the chore finished.
