Norm and Karen’s Turkey Day.
By Norm Seeley | November 26, 2009
Both of us are very thankful that we live in America, thankful for those in the service who make sure that we are safe and able to do the things that we do. I’m also very thankful to have a wife like Karen who has taught me that it’s important to put the Lord first. I do and ask him to help me put her right after him. And he does.
Today we planned to have our Thanksgiving meal at McDonald’s. As I back our van into the handicapped spot, someone came out and told us that McDonald’s was closing. It was 1 PM, and I guess they wanted their employees to have the rest of the day with their families. That’s nice.
Then we thought we’d try our favorite Wienerschnitzel for a couple of Hot Dogs before going to the movie. It was closed too. Oh well, we could get something at the movie.
And that we did, two Cokes, White Castle burgers for Karen, and Popcorn for both of us. And then we got to see one inspiring, bitter sweet move.
Take a look below at the trailer:
Well acted. Great Story. About Real People, living in the Greatest Country in the World.
Happy Thanksgiving!
