ON The Road Again.

By Norm Seeley | November 24, 2009

It’s that time of year that we’re planing to visit San Diego.   When ever you are on the road,  the thought of an rv breakdown comes to mind.

Sometimes I consider our van as being our RV.   Don’t really know why but I do.  Guess at my time of live, I’m entitled to think anything I want.  Might not be correct, but who does it hurt if I think momentarily that our little old Dodge Van is “Our RV.”

Come to think of it, this is the first vehicle that I have owned with as many miles on it as our little old Dodge van.  In the past, it was nothing for me to trade cars, because it was a Tuesday and the temperature was more than 32 degrees.  That”s all it would take.

Times have changed, yes I see the new vans being advertised, and there our a couple that I have looked at more than once.    However, now days I have to be assured that they can be lowered inside by at least 10 inches and have a ramp installed on the passenger side, that allows a wheelchair to roll inside.

There are at least one, maybe even two major car manufacturers that are no longer making mini vans.  So our choices are narrowed down a little.
