Middle of the Week
By Norm Seeley | October 28, 2009
I have always liked Wednesdays.
Always!
Growing up it was because there were only two more days of school. I liked going to school to see my friends, but classroom activities, such as learning bored me to tears.
When I was old enough to start working, Wednesdays again marked that you were close to the end of your shift. It was either Monday through Friday, or Sunday through Friday. Either way, Wednesdays were always a happy day while I was employed.
This particular Wednesday, I have been helping my Father in law and the two of us have been cleaning out a storage shed in our back yard and it is finally clean enough to walk into it. Something unheard of.
We also talked for a moment about security systems for business. My business is here in the house. He has a church in San Diego. While my first thought is, a church is not “a business”, if you get right down to it, there is a side to churches that is covered as “a business.”
Having two cats living with us, our security system has some features that are not necessary in his church, as it has no cats that roam where ever they like when we are away.
