Preparation for an RV (trailer) in our driveway.

By Norm Seeley | October 22, 2009

Today, our friend John brought his trailer over and backed it on to our driveway as we prepare and add room for Karen’s Mom and Dad who will be visiting for a few days starting tomorrow or Saturday.

John has a pick up and set up the trailer, all by himself.  Once Karen knew that he could do it by himself, she came back in the house and went back to her computer.  I am sitting and typing on my computer and can hear the noise of John working in the driveway as I left the front door to the house open.  I’m not into “supervising” much these days.  Can’t stand for very long.

I have thought about how much fun it would be to have an RV, that would have room for Karen and her wheelchair.  Johns trailer has room for several people, but not one in a wheelchair.

While I consider myself a good driver it would be nice to maybe as needed use an rv towing service every once in a while.

As a teenager, I had an opportunity to drive school buses during a summer camp in Denver, but turned it down.  I did not feel that I was an unsafe driver, just didn’t feel like I wanted to take on the added responsibility.  Could have done it, just opted not to.  Haven’t thought about it either.

Like so many things of my life that don’t need to be hashed over and over.

Life today is so much more fun and important to live in the past.

I thankfully enjoyed the past, but I have moved on, and thankful for that too.
