Busy and Happy Day!

Karen and I had a busy day today.
First of all I had to have the van filled up with gas to start things off.
Then I had a Doctor’s appointment to get the results of the MRI I had on my lower back last Friday. Mostly good news, but some bad news. I need to see a surgeon about what I need to do to keep from losing movement and functions below my hip.
Then for lunch, we went to MaCayo’s, the one in Scottsdale, not the one that President Obama went to last Saturday, it was there we met with Kris and her husband Pat. Kris was a listener and friend when I worked on KIMN in Denver in the early 60s.
We hadn’t seen each other in maybe 25 years or so. Neither Karen or I had ever met Pat. Karen had talked to Kris on the phone once but this was the first time they got to talk to each other in person.
Well, it was just one fun lunch. The food was good and the conversation never stopped. Pat and I talked about all sorts of things, including Health Care….What was said….I’ll never tell. You can attend my town hall meeting next Thursday at 2 AM in the morning. (If I remember to stay up. Don’t count one it) Karen and Kris got to talk for the first time also. Our luncheon started about twenty of one and went till after 3 PM. It was on fun day, at least afternoon.

So today, Wednesday, was one exciting day for the Seeleys. This Friday, you will have a couple of items with me to listen to. Live is wonderful here in America.
