When I started my first business it served the Las Vegas Nevada area. What did I do? I sold and serviced two-way radios. It was an area that I had always had an interest in, so I fell right into it. First thing I did was find an accountant who helped me set up the company and keep it on the right track. If I were to start the same company today, I think the first thing I would consider if I started a business would be ecommerce fulfillment . I would also seek out an accountant again. No Question.
If you look at the two-way radio business there are certain things that lend it to a Local Market, but if you stop to think, it can be expanded even farther if you use the right tools.
When you think about it, you sell a two-way radio, to someone in another market. You never see that product again.
There is no question that service can and is a big part of the two-way radio business, it doesn’t hurt to sell an item and never have it come back to your shop. It’ pure profit the day it goes out the door. That doesn’t hurt any business to have items that are pure profit.
Profit is one of the great motivators here in America.
Let’s hope it never goes away.
