Overheard.

By Norm Seeley | July 10, 2009

On Tuesday, when I went to pick up my wife from the Beauty Salon, walking in I overheard one of the Hair stylists  talking with her client about  mac memory .

The moment I heard that, I started thinking about my mother’s kitchen in Denver.  My Mom, liked to cook and make things from scratch.  Now, this was back in the late 40s, early 50s, I was just a youngster but I knew a good thing when I tasted it.  Didn’t have to grow up and be an adult to know good cooking from bad.

She would take fresh Macaroni and boil it in Colorado water.  Makes a difference you know.  To that she would add a mild cheddar cheese that she would cut into small cubes and cook in a double broiler until every single cube was melted and the cheese was just right for pouring over the Macaroni.

Oh, for a bowl of that right now.  Yum !  Make that two Yums !!

Eat your heart out Kraft.

No Comparison.
