Busy Day.
By Norm Seeley | July 3, 2009
Tomorrow is the 4Th of July, the celebration of our country’s 233 “birthday”, my mind has been filled with stories of the heroes out of American History.
Yes I have thought about George Washington. Who else would you think of when you think about this country and it’s leaders and heroes.
Having grown up in Denver another name that came to mind, a little bit different but still a hero of the west, Buffalo Bill, William F. Cody. He was buried on Lookout Mt. that could be seen from almost everywhere in Denver. In fact you could be there in less than 30 minutes. And look back over Denver and the Plains.
Then around noon time my mind shifted, I got thinking about Hot Dog Stands, Coffee Stands, Pizza Stands, Ice Cream Stands. I guess I was hoping that I would be able this year to go to the State Fair.
My mind then did a turn over and flipped to wanting to be entertained. And focused on a tv stand .
