Fun Day.

My wife and I had a fun day today. Actually we have a lot of fun days one right after another. There are weeks that it’s much the same stuff, but others it’s something new every single day. I sometimes liken myself to being a Diamond Miner, surrounded by loose diamonds .
Why? Cause I just consider myself and my wife to have a great life.
Today? Different? Yes and No. While part of what we did was more or less the same, part was different.
A typical day is getting up, working around the house, then out to lunch then back to the house. Some days, after lunch will will go shopping for this or that, food, items for the house, you name it we’ll do it. Just really depends on what is needed. If we need food, that’s what we go shopping for. If it’s something for the house, then that is what we go looking, shopping for.
Once back in the house we go our separate ways, she has things she does and I have stuff to do myself.
What makes today different? We went off to lunch but this time it was out in Gilbert. A good 35 to 40 minutes away, at least the way I drove today. We had been invited to go to Red Robin during, a “Training Day”, as they get ready to open a new restaurant here in the valley. Now we go to RR a lot, nice place, nice food, nice people. But today, we invited some new friends and that made it even more fun.
I think we got a long well with our new friends and the Red Robin food sure helped out. As did our server Ryan. Very Nice and he had done his home work and knew just how to treat our table.
Considering all else that is going on these days, it was nice to have a fun day to fill my mind for a couple more.
