Conversation Subject
By Norm Seeley | May 29, 2009
I don’t know what it is but lately my wife and I have been having a lot of conversations about remodeling our house.

(This is not our house but it is in Scottsdale.)
We live in a 49 year old house, nice sized back yard, car port, large drive way, and AC that works. We just had it checked out and it’s good to go for at least another year. And we have a spare AC sitting in our back yard. (Long story, won’t get into it here.)
But our conversations seem to center at least once every other day on what we should do. Paint this wall this color. Move the furniture over to here in the living room.
Move the living room furniture into the dinning Room and move the dinning room stuff into the living room.
Replace the refrigerator and the Dish washer, and of course the washer and dryer. I think we need to have a stack-able set. Some really bright color too.
The subject of office furniture seems to always come up too. I guess since both of us work from our home, it’s only natural that it would enter our conversations.
And lately I have been expressing a desire to do something to the front of our house so that we could sit out there, behind a fence, and under the Pine tree that fills our front yard. Grass doesn’t do too well out there, so why not put in bricks and make a nice usable patio area out there. Never before have I had an interest in a front yard patio but I have seen several in the neighborhood and they look inviting. Why not in our front yard?
One of these days, I’m just going to do it.
