Back from my Walk!
By Norm Seeley | April 15, 2009
I have been attempting to take a daily walk in an effort to get this body that I have been living in for 65 + years to work a little better.
When I opened the door, I was hit with a blast of what I would consider COLD AIR.
(Don’t tell anyone, I almost turned right around and walked right back into the house.)
I would say it was in the 60s somewhere, a far cry from Denver where I remember many times standing at the airport, they had open, out of doors gates in those days at Stapleton Field, when I was coming down to school here in Arizona, and the temperature was close to freezing. Really that cold. Back then the cold didn’t bother me a bit.
About half way to my goal of the stop sign at the end of the block, my mind, still thinking, “This is Cold” I should beon my way to look at beach Vacation Rentals, instead of this.
Even when my body worked well, I was born for a life of Luxury.
