RF Exposure.
By Norm Seeley | April 2, 2009
During my 30 plus year career in Broadcasting there were several radio stations where the studios were in the same building as the Transmitters. So that meant that you were exposed to RF radiation.

Now I don’t think that it ever cause me any problems but I do remember reading back then about the engineers who were at the TV transmitters atop skyscrapers in New York City who filed clams about their exposure to the high wattage of those transmitters. There is a lot of difference between a 5 thousand watt AM station, and a Million Watt TV station with both a video and audio signal.
You would think that I would have remembered the outcome of those court cases, well, my memory doesn’t seem to work very well lately. But I do hear music from the 60s every once in a while. Especially when I go to turn on the water in the kitchen and grab the facet.
Exposure happens in other businesses as well. Might be handy to know of Mesothelioma Lawyers.
