Travel Bug.
By Norm Seeley | March 24, 2009
There have been times over the years that I would think how much fun it would be to just get in my car and head out across the US and visit this place and that place and not worry about how long I was gone nor when I returned home.
Yes, you’re right those were thoughts that dashed through my head a long time ago. And now that I think a little more about it, I think it hit me in the Fall when it was easy to see the changes around. Living in Colorado as I did, back then, the changes were very easy to see and beautiful to boot.
It was easy to throw some clothes in the corvette and hit the open road.

Now it’s pack the wheelchair van and figure just how long it’s going to take between Scottsdale and say San Diego. That’s easy, we have family in San Diego.
If we headed East rather than West, I would have to think of maybe a free hotel stay , to make it easier on us both.
While I think the travel bug is still in me, on at least one day a month, not so sure the boss of this family is hit that often with the urge to “Hit the Open Road”.

Could be Lesley Gore’s Phoenix 60s visit chauffeur.
