Down to the wire.

The national election is down to the wire. In two weeks and a day we’ll be going to the polls to elect a new President along with other things. Here in Scottsdale there is a runoff for the position of Mayor along with a whole bunch of Propositions. Got to study up on those before voting.

If you have been reading normradio.com for the last few months you must by now know how I feel. I was disappointed with the final selection of the candidates from both parties.

The Democrats, from the git go, have launched a bitter, vicious campaign of lies and half truths, nothing new for them. I have watched it each election since I turned 18 and started voting. I turned 65 this summer. That’s a long time, and a lot of lies. A lot of unkempt promises too. The candidate for President, Obama is the most liberal person in the Senate, that’s easy enough to check, and has voted again and again to increase taxes for Americans, yet he says he’s going to “cut taxes”. Don’t count on it.

Joe Biden, I have nothing good to say about him, so I’ll be quiet. Look at both of their records and keep that in mind when you go to vote.

The very first thought I had when I heard of the bailout was NO, it shouldn’t happen. I didn’t attend Harvard, but that’s not what the Government should be doing. The number of articles that say the same thing are growing. But sadly those in Congress, weren’t listening or even interested.

Several times I have mentioned here, that I was not a big fan of John McCain. But I have seen a change in his attitude in the last 18 months. His reaction to what has been happening is more Presidential, seems to me, from my seat on the desert floor, to truly be more for Americans. His pick for VP, although the Democrats have tried to dump mud on her, Sarah Palin, has brought my view of McCain up greatly. It was a good choice, and will be good for this country. The republicans are offering a chance for Americans. Not more empty Promises like those from the left. Others like McCain/Palin too, it’s not just me.

The current Congress, controlled by the Democrats has the lowest rating of a Congress for years and hasn’t completed one of the promises that got the control back for the Democrats in 2006. That too can be verified quickly and easily. Carter, Clinton, Dodd, Frank, Pelosi, Reid, and a truck load of other Democrats are squarely behind the mess on Wall Street. Again, that fact is easily verified.

America does not need, a liberal Democratic President and a liberal Congress.

God help us if it happens.

And if we’re honest, God would be the only one who would have the power.

McCain and Plain are not perfect, but they both have Americans and America’s best interest at heart.

That’s it, I’m done, I haven’t gone into a lot of misleading “facts” or lies, I have given you the truth from where I sit here in the Arizona Desert. No my head has not been baking in the Sun, I stay where it’s Air Conditioned. Please check the real facts and do what is best for America.
