When I was a teenager.
By Norm Seeley | October 15, 2008
I don’t normally think about the days when I was a teenager. It wasn’t because it was a bad period of my life or there is something I’m trying to forget. Just centered my thoughts in what’s going on today, I guess that’s the reason I don’t spent time back then.
Now if I come across a picture or something like that from those days, I might remember when the picture was taken and what was going on. Sometimes, I haven’t got a clue as to what was happening. I can only think that’s a way for my mind not to be eaten up with sad or bad thoughts. “Gee if I had only done this or that.” Don’t need to go there. Just taking live day to day is enough.
I do remember, I guess it’s because of the magazines I read, a lot aimed at teenagers, there were a lot of ads for Acne Products. I didn’t have a major acne problem like some of my friends but I didn’t . That I know was a blessing. I didn’t have a weight problem either. 175 pounds and 6’4″ at the rip old age of 13. I do remember though, I did have a problem of being able to put one foot after the other. Had that not been a problem back then, maybe I could have spent a few years with the LA Lakers.
