Surrounded.
By Norm Seeley | August 1, 2008
Have you notice that our lives are centered around computers more and more.
In my office, I have 3. Not bragging, OK, maybe a little. But each one was purchased with a specific purpose in mind.
Computer number one, my oldest was a “general Computer” for personal and business accounting and access to the internet. I also have an audio software program in it that I used to produce Friday’s Music and the occasional audio blog.
Computer number two, was purchased for my video production business. That is gone, the AVID software that came with it, a professional video editing system is gone but I have a consumer video editing package in it now. It has limited access to the internet.
Computer number three. It was used as the computer that controlled a DC/DVD duplicator that I used with the video production business. That, the duplicator is gone and now the computer is really for connection with the internet and where I transfer my still digital photos that I take.
While right now they do a pretty good job for what I use them for, I should consider upgrading
using micro SD . I’m sure that more memory would help out a great deal.
At least in my office, I feel surrounded.
