Yes, we had pizza on Wednesday. The truth is Karen doesn’t like my cooking, so, to keep her happy and healthy we go out to eat. While I’m not really happy about the cost of gas to get there and the fact that prices for everything seem to be going up, the biggest problem we have here in Scottsdale, Arizona is finding a parking spot for a handicapped vehicle, like the one we have that has a ramp that goes up and down to allow for Karen in her wheelchair to enter and exit. Enforcement of Handicapped Parking in this city is next to nothing. In fact in the 9 years we have been together, I have never seen anyone ticketing a illegally parked vehicle in a HC spot. Not one. I have seen it done in the other cities here in the valley but not here in Scottsdale. OH Well!
I really need to stop worrying about this. If I don’t I will have to start using an anti wrinkle cream as my face will start to show my concern.
It’s some what interesting, that in Scottsdale there are many parking lots where there isn’t one single spot set aside for a Handicapped Vehicle such as ours. It takes @ 8 feet to lower the ramp off to the right or passenger side. That can’t be done in a normal parking place. We might go to the business with those lots once, but since we can’t park safely or easily, we never go back.
Such a friendly place Scottsdale.
