    I worked in NYC in the 80’s (doing what I am doing now - selling pro video stuff). One rainy day, this very wet, rather raggedy looking older black guy comes in and he announces that he is not a bum! “I’m Bo Diddley”, he says.

    And so he was. My friend Jeff and I recognized him immediately and the three of us sat around talking for at least 2 hours. I think he was very happy that we knew who he was.

    Sad to see that he has passed. He was certainly one of the pioneers of rock and roll.
