Lawn Norm
By Norm Seeley | May 16, 2008

Pictured above is the Offical Lawn Norm. You should see how traffic in front of our house stops each time he is standing out there.
It’s amazing.
I’m almost ready to put out a table and sell them. But then I realize this is Scottsdale, where I would have to get a license to sell the Offical Lawn Norm.
Scottsdale has to take a percentage of everything, even though they don’t do anything to earn it. Does it sound like I’m bitter toward Scottsdale? I’ll save that for another Blog.
Spare you for today.
There is a funny story about Lawn Norm.
Last week while having lunch, we had a new waitress and I was talking to her after she spilled a glass of cold Ice Tea on me.
I found out she was new to Arizona.
I asked her, her name. She told me and I told her mine. NORM.
“OH”, she said, ” In North Dakota where I lived we had a “Lawn NORM”.
I suppose I should have asked her for a travel guide, as I have never been to North Dakota, and really don’t know how to get there. But, I didn’t.
But, remember, that Lawn Norms original home was here in Arizona.
It’s a Small, Small, World
