Here at Home.

I don’t think much about moving from where I live now. My parents owned their house in Denver for I more than 20+ years and had they decided to come down here to Scottsdale, I don’t think they would have moved out of that house.

We used to every once in a while go look at new housing developments, and of course I would come home all excited about the idea of a “New House” and even back in the late 40s and early 50s, those model homes got a bright eyed kid doing double time, thinking about the new digs. But it didn’t happen.

That was the only home that they owned in Colorado. They had owned I think one other house and that was back east. I however was two when they made the move to Denver, so I have no memories of it, at all.

As to me and house ownership, I have had a few. One in Paradise Valley, Arizona, one in Las Vegas, Nevada, one in West Palm Beach, Florida, and now in Scottsdale, Arizona. At the time, had you asked me, I would have told you, “I will be here for the rest of my life.” I think it’s closer to happening here quite frankly. Combination of things. Maybe another blog.

What about a second home? Yes, I have had this idea enter my mine over the years. KK would like to have a home in San Diego, California. I wouldn’t fight that idea too much. What about back east. My father spent time in North Carolina so I guess I might consider Wilmington NC Real Estate. As he always had nice things to say about his time there. Being on a coast could be very exciting.

I would think that now would be a very good time for such an investment.

What ever the case, it’s fun to think about owning another house.
