Sunday the 16th.
By Norm Seeley | March 16, 2008
I guess that’s as good a title as any. That is today’s date, so I’m at least being truthful. And considering what’s going on these days, that is a good start.
In the past, I have blogged during the week and left Saturday’s and Sundays with no normradio blog. The world can go a day, maybe two, maybe even more than that without being able to click on to normradio.com and read or listen to what I’m up to, thinking about or running off at the mouth about. (So Good at that.)
With E3 church now meeting a 5PM Sunday nights, I have all Sunday morning to sit here and type away. Or if I really had energy, I could turn on my audio mixer and record something, and you could listen to my thoughts. Then maybe you could tell me what I was thinking about.
Then again, there is the possibility that in reality, I’m not sitting in front of the computer at all, that I typed this several days ago, maybe even weeks ago and just set it up to appear, as if by magic this particular Sunday Morning. There’s a thought. That would be cool.

For the most part, I live today, not in the past, nor in the future. What happens is now, not yesterday not tomorrow. But those of you who read normradio on a regular basis, know that I do include things, pictures, etc, of what has happened to me in the past. I have typed about Denver, Phoenix, and Las Vegas radio days.
Denver was a great place to grow up.
Phoenix was good to start a family. Scottsdale, now, is a great place to share everything with KK. She’s a hoot!!!
Las Vegas, always had something going on, it never stopped. The strip and the hotels was always of interest for me, personally and as a news director.
Back to today…I could type about my new Mr. Coffee Ice Tea Maker. The one I had, more than 20 some years, died yesterday. So today, I replaced it. In fact, I have the very first glass of tea on my desk right now.
Or, I could go back to Las Vegas and my fascination with the hotels and the people or what about condo hotels? There are a number of things from that city that would be fun to relive and type about.
But, since I have sat here, typing my fingers away about absolutely nothing, I am going to stop while I’m ahead. Or at least that’s the way I feel.
Next time!!
