More than just a place to stop.

Yesterday after a quick lunch, KK wanted to stop for a few minutes and watch the birds at the lake near our house.
Why not? So that’s where we went.
We stayed there for twenty, thirty minutes just sitting in our van, with the windows down, listening to the birds, looking out over the lake, watching the runners and bikers pass by our front windshield.
After awhile it actually got hot. The past few weeks, make that months, it has been cold here on the desert, so it was a change to get on the warm side. It was then, KK said lets’ go home…adding, “I have work to do”.
Darn!!!
