Part of the Deal.
By Norm Seeley | February 1, 2008
Couple weeks ago, I showed you in my blog of December 5th, 2007, the very first car I owned. It started with that Corvair, and one of the things that I have always done since is maintained my car insurance. Each one, the Malibu, the Olds Starfire, the 63 Biscayne, the 65 Impala, the Corvette, the Cadillacs, the Camry, the numerous , Chevy, Dodge and Plymouth Vans, always had insurance. It was part of the deal.
To me, it’s even more important that the ownership of a vehicle itself. If you don’t have insurance, then you should own a vehicle or be driving. If you want to have a car, then just like having tires and putting gas in, you have to consider and purchase insurance.
In Arizona, there is a law that requires that if you have a vehicle, then you also have to have insurance. I don’t remember if that was the case back in Colorado back in the 60s, but I think it’s a good law.
