Scottsdale and the Super Bowl.
By Norm Seeley | January 31, 2008
The GoodYear Blimp is one sign that the Super Bowl is being celebrated here in Scottsdale Arizona while being played in Glendale, to the west of us.
Next, it’s the ESPN, broadcast site that is sitting in downtown Scottsdale. I hope no one tells them that just a few months ago, that same area was filled with smells from the sewer. It’s a very Richy area. Faw, Faw.
Not only is ESPN broadcasting from Scottsdale, but 944 Magazine has a tent as they are celebrating 5 years of publication. One can visit the tent for free during the day, at night I think it starts at $50.00 just to get in.
One last note, here in Scottsdale nothing is done in a small way. When there is advertising, it’s not just a sign, it’s take a building under construction, and turn it into a huge sign.
Isn’t being rich wonderful?

Norm, you shouldn’t make fun of Super Bowl Sunday.
As you know, it is America’s most holy day.
I see the sermons will begin at 9AM here on the East Coast and the sports-pastors will be preaching their divine guidance all the way to 6PM when the holy event begins.
I bet the holy coffers will be overflowing with advertising dollars.

I wasn’t making fun of the Super Bowl…I was just trying to get the attention of someone in the electronics business….maybe an independent friend who would say to himself…..Norm needs a High Def Television so he can watch the SB. So he can invite friends over to marvel at what a great picture it has. Know anyone like that???? I wouldn’t even mind if it shows up after the Super Bowl…..they’ll be one next year.
