My Office
By Norm Seeley | January 10, 2008
When I first moved to this house, eleven or twelve years ago, the furniture that I brought with me had been with me for quite a few years. At the time I made the move, it actually had been in storage for at least a couple of years.
My computer I had bought when I came back to Arizona from Florida, so it was new. But the rest of the stuff was furniture that I had accumulated over the years. There was bedroom furniture, Living room stuff, a Dinning room set, and an old metal desk and metal filing cabinet.
That metal desk severed as my Executive Desk until maybe a year after Karen and I were married on the 23rd of this month back in 1999.
Since I have an audio mixer, a couple CD players, Turntable, Video recorders, 3 Computer Monitors, 2 Video Monitors, and 3 computers, I have a desk arrangement that covers two out of the four walls in the room, putting the desks up against the walls. Karen has a desk on the third wall and there’s a closet making up the fourth.
The way I have it set up, the center of the room is wide open and the desks ring the room with the equipment covering the three desks. Karen’s desk is the only one that doesn’t have any equipment on it. I keep asking.

“I keep asking” it took about 5-10 seconds for that one to hit. You may be asking for a long time!

You must remember, Jack, I’m in this for the long haul.
