January 30, 1949, Sunday

By Norm Seeley | October 24, 2007

January 30, 1949, Sunday, that’s all that is written on the back of this picture of my Dad and I.  Doesn’t give us a clue as to where it was, or what was going on.

Now, it could have been in Cheeseman Park in Denver that we could walk to from our house.  Then again, it could have been up in the Rocky Mountains, some where, as I vaguely remember that we would as a family take  train rides up into the mountains from Denver’s Union Station and spend the day up in the Snow.

Looking through old pictures is fun, it would be better if they have more imformation on them, who, what, why, when, and where.   Simple facts that would make such a difference.

Now all I can say is that me and my Dad, in the snow, (assuming that’s Colorado) on a Sunday in January back in 1949.

I remember doing a lot of things with my Dad.  Wish I could tell you more, but I can’t.
