Age has nothing to do with it.

Yesterday morning I was in my office when Karen rolled in and asked me for some help.
I love it when she comes down to my end of the house and asks me to do something for her.
What could it be?
I was really beginning to fell so very important, that she with her BD degrees would have to ask little old me for aid. I was ready, willing, and able.
I turned to face her so that I could hear what she had to say. I hadn’t put on my hearing aids.
“Dr. Norm” was Listening.
Karen asked:
” What is the name of the show that Jack Bauer is on?”
(I knew the answer immediately) She asked again, as if I had not heard her. “What is the name of the show that Jack Bauer is on?
I held back a laugh, although much older I knew the answer.
I moved my chair back just a tad, and with my left arm in the air between us, wrote in the air, and spoke it at the same time, “2″.
Then, pausing just a second, wrote again in the air and spoke “4″. Then said twenty-four .
She got a cute little look on her face and we both started laughing out loud. I seized on the oportunity to hug her. We continued to laugh.
Life with Karen never fails to amaze me.
Oh, I’m so smart!!!
