Road Stories and Something New.
By Norm Seeley | July 3, 2007

As I mentioned yesterday, I spent most of the day on the road to Yuma. Karen is visiting her parents and the rest of her family over in California and I drive her and the van to Yuma, then her Dad drives her, the rest of the way.
Yes I can still podcast, but to be honest just haven’t felt like doing one. Shame on me! On the way to Yuma we listened to a Phoenix AM radio station most of the way, then turn on our Satellite receiver and listed to it the rest of the way. That is pretty slick.
On the way back here to Scottsdale, I drove my father-in-law’s car. It’ a really nice Mercury. What I found cool (I mean real cool), was that you could set the temperature on the AC and it would control the interior temperature of the vehicle. Not like our van where you set it to cool, and when you feel cool enough or too cold, you turn down the fan. Nope, in the Mercury it was done by temperature. Long time ago when I was young, handsome, and with money that I apparently didn’t want to hold on to for long had a Caddie that had a temperature control like that. Those days are gone.
Before I forget I want you to know that a very good friend of mine, Ken has started blogging. He and I met at Desert Vista Church and even though he and his wife have moved to another church, continue to get together for lunch every couple of months. He is a really nice guy.
I have setup a link to the right under favorite blogs, the name of Ken’s site is On Second Look. Check it out!!!
