No, it’s not going to Help.
By Norm Seeley | April 12, 2007
Can you believe it? Looks like being a liberal isn’t going to save Don Imus from being fired. Don, it’s not your fault, it’s your parents fault.
I’m not going to explain that remark, but take a few minutes and I think it will come very clear to you. Do I feel sorry for him if he is fired? Not really. I just have this feeling that after 30 years on the air in the big apple, that his lawyers surely didn’t let him sign a contract that if let go, fired, that he doesn’t walk away with something more than a “See Ya Don”. You and I might not get anything. But just don’t think Imus will be walking the streets with a hat in his hand collecting pennies and quarters.
Let us not forget that the US Senate has voted to force you and I, the nation’s taxpayers to fund destructive embryonic experimentation. President Bush will surely veto the bill.
Once again let me draw your attention to my wife’s blog, www.digitalkaren.com. She knows what’s really going on with stem cell research. It’s just too bad the US Senators don’t have enough time or staff to do their homework and find out what’s really going on and what works and doesn’t work.
With, it’s our money, why should they care thoughts, in Scottsdale, Norm Seeley.

I don’t know a lot about Imus, but the hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center, (about 2 blocks from my place) has a huge wing called the Don Imus Pediatric Facility. He apparently does a lot of charity work for kids.
Oh, and quickly checking online, it appears that he is a moderate Republican. He’s not a liberal! It seems he loathes Al Gore and he has ridiculed President Clinton a lot. (I have no personal knowledge of this - it’s just what I am reading on the net…)

Apparently when he appeared on Sharpton’s radio program in the last few days, he said something to the effect:” I hope they don’t think I’m a right wing conservative.” Either he was refering to himself, or maybe he thinks only right wing conservatives can make dumb remarks. Go figure. It’s easy to understand his feelings toward Algore.
