The shirt shows the KRUX logo from the 60s.
This T-Shirt is available….I found it on the web, and have no connection.

You were a giant, Norm!!
Seriously, I think people may underestimate the amount of influence Rock n’ Roll Disk Jockeys had on kids in the 60′s — I know they influenced me. Living in Whiteriver, Arizona I only rarely got to listen to KRUX so I don’t know if you personally had any influence or not — but I still recall the even DJ’s on KOMA out of Oklahoma City from that era.
So your sort of like Wolfman Jack and his touching scene with Richard Dreyfus in “American Graffiti”.
Congratulations!!

I used to say that when I was the on the air…..If I move just one person. I really didn’t say much….the format of the station dictated what was said….time, temp, back or front announce….maybe a little about what was going on. But little more…..I know every once in a while I would stray….but I could count those times on one hand. Are you the Norm Seeley who? has come up before……and I am sure it will come up again.
Thanks for the nice words.

I even remember the KRIZ/KRUX rivalry. Most kids were one or the other. [I think I was in the KRUX camp, though I can't remember why.]. A rare few listened to KRDS and were regarded as oddballs.
