Our Last Meal of 2006!

By Norm Seeley | December 31, 2006

Karen and I have just returned home from dinner out with friends Terry and Tracy at Charleston’s.  Another one of the places in Scottsdale, this time North Scottsdale (Fa Fa) that should you visit our city, you should go to, the food is worth a visit or maybe even two.  By 6 PM it was packed, luckily Karen had made reservations.  Took a while however to find a Handicapped parking spot, but someone backed their Caddie out and in we pulled our van, let down the ramp and out rolled my beautiful wife in her wheelchair.  I find it amusing to find 4 wheel drive vehicles sitting 8 feet up in the air, with tires bigger than my 6’4” frame, in the handicapped spots.  Not one, but the parking spot along with the one that is to be left open for ramps.  When you are up that high, I guess you get a different view of things…..spaces look smaller.  Two spaces look like one.   I don’t think I could even get in one of those trucks if I had a ladder with me. Those are my thinking about food again thoughts from Scottsdale, Norm Seeley.
