Today we tried a new place.

It seems when we go out, more times than not we find places to eat that we visit only once and don’t go back to. It’s ashame, but true in a city like Scottsdale that we strike out as much as we do.
A while ago I posted a piece on our Scottsdale Mayor being upset over the name of a new restaurant to be called the Pink Taco. The owner had a similar restaurant with the same name up in Las Vegas. So today we decided to try it.
Arriving very close to Noon, I think we were among maybe the first 30 people in the place. Great decore, Mexican all the way, with some really weird Mexican Wrestling Posters at one end. The staff was friendly and we were seated right away. Two regular ice teas, came quickly and we then ordered. Karen had pork tacos and I had steak tacos. Let me tell you, in the time it’s taking me to type this sentence is how long it took for both lunches to be served up.
Taste? Yes and then some. Really Good! Not what I’m used too, but I enjoied the favor. Very Much. Don’t need to say more. We will be back. So the Scottsdale Pink Taco gets a check as a place to go and go back. A rarity but welcomed.
Must be honest, have one complaint. I seem to always sit so that I’m staring into a window. And with an Arizona Blazing sun outside, it makes the room seem very dark and faces all but disappear. I’ll have go to do something about that.
